Stage 5 – 14/01/2021 – Peisey-Vallandry

This fifth stage took place on the Nordic area of Peisey-Vallandry. All the 27 teams have covered 14km with an elevation gain of 260 meters on a nordic track which was going through the hamlets of Beaupraz and La Culaz. A short and quick stage which happened under snow and fog.

In the category Open, the German Sylvia Ulrich wins the stage for the second time in a row, however the French Rémy Coste keeps his first place on the overall classification. In the category Limited, it’s the second time that Christian Perlwitz takes the first step on the podium, the French Cindy Duport still has enough advance to stay in the lead of the general ranking. Second and last day of the Trophy France Bleu, Aurélie Delattre wins the stage of the day and become the winner of the Trophy.

This stage marks the end of the World Culp Race of the International Dog Sled Sports.
