La Grande Odyssée will remain « Savoie Mont Blanc »
La Grande Odyssée and Savoie Mont Blanc Tourism confirm their agreement for 3 new years with La Grande Odyssée Savoie Mont Blanc.
On Monday 24th, June, 2019 in Annecy (France), during the General Meeting of de Savoie Mont Blanc Tourism, Nicolas Rubin and Vincent Rolland, Presidents of Savoie Mont Blanc Tourism, have signed a contract with Annabel Lascar-Kam, Executive Director of KCIOP, organization of La Grande Odyssée. By this contract, Savoie Mont Blanc Tourism confirms its position of « Title sponsor » of La Grande Odyssée, for years 2020, 2021, 2022.
An opportunity to unveil the program of the next edition, from 11th to 22nd January 2020
Stages in Haute-Savoie
In Samoëns, on Saturday, the 11th of January 2020, will take place the Opening Ceremony of the 16th edition of La Grande Odyssée Savoie Mont Blanc.
On Sunday, the 12th of January 2020, the first stage will start in Morillon, in the territory of Montagnes du Giffre – Grand Massif.
The race will then cross Praz de Lys – Sommand on Monday 13/01, Les Gets on Tuesday 14/01 and Megève on Wednesday 15/01.
Stages in Savoie
The race will continue 3 days in Tarentaise with a stage in Pralognan-le-Vanoise on Thursday 16/01 and 2 news stages in Valmorel on Friday 16/01 and Peisey-Vallandry on Saturday 18/01.
It will finish in Haute Maurienne Vanoise, historical land of the race, with 3 stages in 4 days : Bessans-Bonneval-sur-Arc on Sunday 19/01 with a mass-start, Aussois on Monday 20/01 and the famous bivouac stage in Val Cenis during 2 days, on Tuesday 21/01 and Wednesday 22/01. On this last day, will unfold the award and closing ceremony.
