The Haut-Giffre is made up of 5 villages with very different characters, Châtillon sur Cluses, La Rivière-Enverse, Morillon, Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval and Verchaix, from the traditional charm of the mountains to the heart of the resort, it is a soothing destination which offers a permanent reconnection with nature.

Here, in winter, it’s skiing on the Grand Massif ski area with its 250km of runs but also its Nordic areas at Joux Plane, Fer à Cheval or in the Haut-Giffre plain, biathlon, dog sledding, snowshoeing or ski touring trails…

The Haut-Giffre is a valley like no other, with a multitude of landscapes, from the calm of the countryside to the high mountains, where everyone can find what they are looking for: a destination that lives to the rhythm of its river, where you can explore the valley at your own pace, in a gentle way, on foot, on horseback, by bike, on snowshoes or on skis from an altitude of 600m.
