13.10. We are waiting for the last Trophy teams now. We will come with an unoffisial list when the last have arrived. At restart there will be no timing down to finish-line, so this times are the unoffisial times of this part of the stage.

12.55 Arrived Polar Base:Combazard, De Martin,Gaspard, Heritier, Trophy: Lemoine 2.15.30 Travadon 2.24.44

1240: The teams will have a break at The Polar Base and restart at 5 o`clock, so I`m sorry but the misunderstanding, No one is going down to the valley yet.

Milos goes fastes with Bily 1 min slower. Now the mushers are going downhill for 10 km and some few km up valley for the finish-line.

11.53: Passing Polar base: Milos !.50.16 unoffisal, Bily 1.46.22,

11.45: In the front Gonda have some houndred on Bily he is a bit before Radek. Some houndred meters back of him comes Pontier, the french musher ho have moved to Norway to be a better longdistanse musher. After him we have Reitan a bit back an then Brennodden is comming, but he have not contact with the teams ahead of him, In 10 min the first one will pass the polar base.

11.16; It seems that Gonda still is keeping the distanse to Radek who have left Bily who now is some houndred meters back of Radek. After him some houndred meters we have Pontier.,

10.40: First team are turning at Col de Petit Mont Cenis and his heading back.

10.20: Almost all LGO  mushers is in the trail. Bily and Radek is running together, that means that in the Gen. ranking, Bily have taken 2 min on Radek at this moment. The same with Pontier who have gone up in the back of Ketil Reitan, and earned 2 min on him. In the Trophy class it seems that three mushers will have a big bit of it: Antoine Lemoine FRA nr 1, Marc Tercier SWI nr 2, and Isabelle Travadon. Bily have passed Radek,

10.05: The first mushers of LGO have left the Polar base. Todays stage will be in high mountain area almost by the Italian border. some up and downs before the teams going down to the valley and got about 4 km to Lanslevillard, the temperature is about - 1C at this moment but the sun will make it hotter during the day. Interesting on the topp range is that Milos Golan and Radek Havrda have dropped one dog and are now running with 9. The other ones have 10.

09.50: Jaco Ulmann and Mel Andrews have not started on this stage. Wolfram Schumacher have started the stage, but scratched last evening because of some pains in the ribbs after he felt before the start.

09.30 Soon we will have the start on the last part of stage 8. Because of the temperature up on 2000 m altitude will be hot during the day the teams will do only one loop up at Lac des Mont Cenis and and Col du Petit Mont Cenis. Today the stage then will be about 40 km. You can see the startlist downunder here, the startinervall will be 2 min.
