18.40: I`ll now leaving for the polarbase, but will be back tomorrow with the rest of the stage. We will still give you the names of the musher who is starting the climbing to polarbase in the number they pass.

18.07: We got a message that we well get a ranking of todays part of the stage, but it will be here on the live  race and not on the the ordinary ranking site. So fare in the stage it`s some movements in the Trophy class, Both Martinez have been passed of some mushers. In the LGO Milos runs very good and have passed Radek and Pontier at the moment. Bily is still a bit back of Radek and  Pontier is keeping his distanse to Radek. In this moment Radek pass Pontier. Ketil Reitan have moved away from Jo Are Brennodden  and go fastest of the norwegians.

17.39: All teams are now out in the trail, and the two first Tropy - teams have just passed Bessans; Eric Martinez France and Miquel-Angel Martinez Spain. I will inform you that this evening I will stop the live really soon for go up to polair base for make intervjues and reports for the blog. Anyway it will be no result this evening, and the most mushers believe thats tomorrows lap will be where things happends.

17.o5: To days stage is the first part of a sort of longdistanse stage. The teams go up all of the valley Val Cenis, passing Bessans and turns back in the village Bonneval sur Arc, go to Lanslebourg and start the climbing on a summer-road up to 2000m to the Base Polaire where the mushers must sleep in a tent this night. This part is about 50 km. To morrow they go on almost around lac du Mont Cenis a mountain sea, and turn back, and will Arrive Lanslebourg as finish-line. This stage is a very importent in the race. Two years  ago Radek Havrda really made his race on this stage and become the winner of LGO. Here we maybe get some indications. Will the norwegians Ketil Reitan, Jo Are Brennodden start to really speeding? Jean Phillipe Pontier, who is living in Norway and making his team longdistanse, will he be able to give the top 3 match? To morrow they run about 80 km.

16.50:Then the først half of stage 8 have started. As you can see new teams have enjoyed us, they are running for the Trophy and follow LGO for 3 stages. More info about Trophy you find on the LGO blog.
