Sarah owns a dozen of siberian huskies from Valérie Du Retail's Leva-Nève Kennel.
It's the first year she is running La Grande Odyssée Savoie Mont Blanc.

Biography :
Jo Are is from a succesful mushing familly. His father Kjell is one of the best long-distance mushers in Norway. His brother Ola has won the Femundlopet 500 in 2008. Jo Are took a great 4th place in La Grande Odyssee Savoie Mont Blanc 2009. He received also the friendliest musher award.

Biography :
Born in trieste, Italy, Henry has emigrated to Sweden to live his passion.
He owns 20 houndy sleddogs, selected for their desire to run, natural speed, strengthness and stamina, respect to the bunch. This is his first attempt on La Grande Odyssée Savoie Mont Blanc in 2010.

Along with his wife Elisabeth Edland, Per Olav runs a successful kennel. Since 1992 Per Olav participates in Norwegian competitions and since 1998 in international competitions. This year will be his first participation in La Grande Odyssée Savoie Mont Blanc.

Benoît is one of the most experienced french musher. He has been handling in top competitive kennels from Norway, Alaska and Canada. He has raced mots of the greatest races in the world. Ahandler for Robert Sorlie, Benoît plans to start his own kennel soon.

Biography :
A former steep skier and climber, Emil has fallen in love with sleddogs during a trip in Canada. Originally coming from Switzerland, he has moved his kennel in Norway in 2009 to improve his level. Emil is also the builder of the sleds of the world famous BEWE brand. Emil hold the record of most stages won on La Grande OdysséeSavoie Mont Blanc.

A doctor, Barbara runs with her husband Emil a kennel of 40 alaskan huskies. Originally living in Switzerland, they have moved to Norway to get better training conditionsand to get closer from the main long-distance teams. Barbara has been a handler for Emil for years. Petter runs a farm in the summer and a sleddog tour business in the winter. He develops a special breeding for La Grande Odyssée Savoie Mont Blanc. His dogs are a mix of alaskan huskies and shorthaired pointers. La Grande Odyssée Savoie Mont Blanc is his main goal of the season.

Biography :
Robert is the most famous musher in the world. After winning all the major races in Europe, he ran the Iditarod in 2002 and took the 9th place and the rookie of the year award. He came back the following year and won. And 2 years later, he won again. His way to run his dogs slower but really longer has inspired many other great mushers. Robert has taken the 2nd place and the rookie of the year award in his first La Grande Odyssée Savoie Mont Blanc in 2009. He's back in 2010 to win.

Jiri has been the second Czech musher to enter the race after Radek Havrda. He took the 5th place on his first attempt. He is coming back this year with greater goal for sure. Czechia is one of the main nation in mushing.
