From january 5th to 16th 2008
Through the Savoie and the Haute Savoie, mushers from the twelve or so different countries worldwide will be competing during a 2-week effort race over 1,000 km and over 25,000 m of cumulated positive difference in level.
Night and day the track will lead the teams through 24 ski resorts (20 French resorts and 4 Swiss), where many events will be taking place.
For each of the 10 stages, the race starts against the clock (every 2 minutes) or as mass start (in parallel) and brings together thousands of people in the snowed-up streets of the resort centers or in the most beautiful natural sites of the Pays de Savoie Mont Blanc.
Finish lines, very spectacular, are the place where fabulous events are organized.
